Hi, I’m Jessica, storyteller, UX writer, content designer, and professional overthinker.
I bring clarity, empathy, and strategy to digital experiences (maybe even a dash of delightful weirdness).
I started with a degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State, where I learned to build narratives that connect and characters you could bump into on the street.
Since then, I’ve wandered through the worlds of finance, education, and public service, translating bureaucratic labyrinths into human speak and crafting content people actually want to read (and dare I say, enjoy).
Somewhere between quarterly reports and public library apps, I realized just how much power the right (or wrong!) words have in shaping how we move through digital spaces, and how good (or bad!) a time we’re going to have.
Now I design with language, aligning content strategy with design decisions and clearly communicating the “what” and “why” behind every word and wireframe.
Writing for users is only part of my story. I also script the story of the work, structuring presentations that connect design decisions, user needs, and team goals.
Whether I’m walking stakeholders through a checkout flow or crafting a unique value proposition for a brand-new feature, I turn structure and strategy into a clear, compelling narrative.
From e-commerce sites to AI tools, I write to guide, inform, and build trust, without sounding like a toaster.
I focus on the tiny moments that reduce friction, spark connection, and maybe sneak in a smile.
I thrive where story meets strategy.
Where good content becomes good experience.
Where users feel seen and supported.
